Columbia Underwriters, Inc. was founded in 1978 by Robert E. Bowden and Joanne Z. Fineberg as a General Agency specializing in transportation insurance.
Over the years we added our Flood Insurance Department, which has grown to provide many products for both coastal and non-coastal properties.
In addition, we offer miscellaneous services, such as surplus lines tax filings for non-resident brokers.
Our goal is to provide you and your clients with the most experienced and knowledgeable insurance underwriting, ensuring you and your clients the best that is available from the insurance industry.
